AyooLii has been on a tear as of late, and that includes a new EP released last week, “Wake Up.” The five-track project is brash and unapolagetic, both from the beats and the delivery of the verses. It’s intentionally over-the-top, and you can’t help but get sucked in by the wild aspects of the wall of sound on tracks like opener “Everything Ain’t What It Seems” and “Tour.” If you haven’t been keeping tabs at AyooLii at this point, you certainly need to, and it’s time to “Wake Up” below:
