Singer-songwriter brothers Max and Nelson Devereaux collaborated on a new album. There’s nine songs here, starting with “Fame?” which was released a couple months back as a single. The prolific duo brings a heaping helping of layered, jangly pop tunes that explore themes of the vicious cycles finding yourself, navigating madness and struggling to adapt to the ever-changing world. Despite the burdensome lyrical matters, Max and Nelson Devereaux deliver colorful melodies with their good-natured voices on “Bird of Paradise.” The boys are probably already working on their next album, so stay tuned!
