Randal Bravery’s latest instrumental EP, “Īkagen,” is an exploration of abstract hip hop soundscapes. The four-track project opens with an ethereal ambiance that draws listeners into a hypnotic state before shifting gears into head-nodding beats. From there, the EP takes a more lo-fi approach, showcasing Bravery’s ability to create soundscapes that are simultaneously full of space and beautiful.
