Hybrid singer/rapper Maalik F released a new video for his 2022 single “Run It Up,” and it’s a testament to his versatility as an artist. The song mixes trap beats with more melodic elements, showcasing Maalik’s ability to switch up his flow effortlessly. The video, directed by CTM Films, is an adventure that sees Maalik on a mission to get some computer chips to exchange for cash, ultimately to get his girl back. The visuals have a cinematic quality that nods to action movies and video games, mixed with performance footage.  Maalik brings a raw energy to the screen and effortlessly switches between singing and rapping.
