Lies, infidelity, and coping with vices all get covered on Leroy Booker’s latest, “Shame On Me,” a track that blends the worlds of hip hop and pop. With a melodic flow, Booker details a relationship gone awry, and the thoughts that he’s having after the fact. In some ways, he’s venting, but at other moments, he wants to get his girl back. It’s a moment of audible indecision, and an emotion that often times can be hard to convey in the context of a song.
