At the beginning of February, Frame James dropped a robust new project, “Game God.” With 17 tracks in total, there’s plenty of room for James to give you a look at the full spectrum of his sound, and he does just that with arguably his most well-rounded release. Whether he’s talking his shit and flexing, making club songs, or talking about girls that don’t love him anymore, he does so with full conviction on the mic. The project feels like a throwback to the mixtape era of the mid-2000s, with an update to meet today’s sound and style.
