“WIA” shows the rappers’ affinity for southern rap music evident from their triplet style flow to the sample of a ‘90’s southern rap hook during the introduction. Both NilexNile and Wave both ooze confidence and their difference in energy pays off as one prepares the other to unleash a rapid-fire spray of bars without missing a beat. Hopefully this track is the sign of a large body of work in the future.
