Wavy Goat returned at the top of the year with a new project, following up on a June 2021 release with the “Wavy Goat 2” mixtape. With ten tracks of energetic, sample-based beats, he blends earlier eras of hip hop with the swagger-filled, flex-heavy elements of Milwaukee rap. The style is unique, and you can hear the evolution of Baby Goat’s flow from his previous installment until now. Granted, he’s released plenty of music in the interim, but comparing the two seems fitting, and Baby Goat is able to turn heads with this release.
