JalenG raps best when he has a chip on his shoulder, plain and simple. With that said, new single “Underestimated” is Jalen in his prime, putting together heady metaphors over a thumping beat from producer Michael Plewa. As the title would indicate, the rapper doesn’t feel that he gets his just due from the people around him, and he’s going to outwork everyone to get his name and music heard. A changed man, the hook talks about transformation in his life, and where he’s taking things going forward.
