Rapper 54 Baby Trey has some things to get off his chest, and he does so on a piano-laden beat in his recent video for “Start On This.” The beat is fairly mellow, but Trey utilizes his grimy vocals to talk about the street life, picking up a case, and having to hustle to survive. The song is brash and unfiltered, but so is real life in the neighborhoods where Trey grew up. The video from OceanLegacyCinematic has Trey in all aspects of the hood, as well as performing at the strip club. It’s an honest look at the world Trey knew to come up.
