While we’ve gotten a few singles from HellKat recently, today he returns with a project, in the form of the “Jennie’s Son” EP. The release is seven tracks, and while we’ve gotten mostly flex-heavy singles from the rapper, the longer format allows HellKat to show more depth to his artistry. While yes, there’s plenty of boastful lyrics, the sequencing allows for slower songs like “Tracey” and “Tonight” to break things up in the middle of the project. Features from Jefe Roto, Don B., Demar and Lady Sabo also keep things moving from a sonic perspective. HellKat is still getting established, but definitely moving in the right direction, and you can hear that here. Check out “Jennie’s Son” below:
