Sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do in order to get the plays up. That’s the approach that Breonte takes on a new short track with Nineishuman, “For The Algorithm.” With a dreamy beat, he flexes about having people in the streets and getting his money up by any means necessary, appealing to the most contemporary sound possible to get discovered. Nineishuman switches everything up on the back end, though, with a gristle-filled flow about also being in the streets. While there’s room here for commentary about streaming services diluting the substance of music as a whole in the name of tailoring product to consumers under the guise of convenience, we’ll skip all that.
