Pop act Kobe is back with a new single, and he has a party anthem about a short fling with “Pretend.” As he echoes after the chorus, he’s not looking for love on this song, but rather somebody for the night. With some crisp sounding house-infused production, this track is one that is made for the dancefloor. To add to his part of the song, Kobe turns the hook into the type of lyrics that get stuck in your head for days on end, and has a strong vocal range to boot. “Pretend” is only the second wide-releasing single that Kobe has out, but there’s a lot of bright spots here.
