Producer Phatbrane is back to work, dropping off a new project that is just a little spacy, and just a little bit all over the place. Fittingly, “Pot Head Social Club, Vol. 1” is the title of the release, that switches moods with ease, while still staying fresh. The beats are on point, each providing a different flavor, and working in elements of hip hop and lo-fi into the electronica space. It might be best to light something up while you check this out, but even if you don’t imbibe, you’ll certainly find something to groove to on this project.
