Earlier this year, Marshen McClinton dropped a track that combines the bounce of Milwaukee’s underground scene with plenty of finesse. “PYC” is short for “pull your card,” and Marshen isn’t afraid to have someone come for what’s yours. McClinton raps about people that put on a tough exterior, but really aren’t living the way he is. It’s a strong effort, because it’s a song that is able to link up the street sound with more traditional rap, while not compromising either sound. Hopefully there’s more to follow suit, but check out “PYC” below:
