Soul, R&B and hip hop come together for a new single, with Rahn Harper and Rated-R Playboy linking up on “2 Dranks.” The song is about bringing a girl back to the house, and it’s full of swagger, as Harper harmonizes while Rated-R Playboy gets straight to the point on his verse. It’s two different approaches to tell the same tale, but they work well together. Vocally, Harper takes a bit more risk, getting into falsetto range, but it pays off, as the verses offset his higher end.
