AUDIO: Max Devereaux – “Blank Constellation”
Max Devereaux has a new album out, and he’s experimenting with space on “Blank Constellation.” More avant garde than traditional music piece, Devereaux makes use of synths, guitars, drums and more to create a unique sonic atmosphere. The opening tracks can be a bit offputting, but pieces like “A Drop In The Sky Part III” are haunting and have great depth, given the album title’s implied interstellar visuals. If you’re looking for something catchy to sing along to, this isn’t the record.
