AUDIO: Montefalcone – “Duvet”
Montefalcone is an enthralling composer who continues to entice us with each new release. ‘Duvet,’ his latest piece, sounds terrific and has all the characteristics to become a modern classical songbook staple.
Based in Switzerland, Montefalcone has spent years honing his craft. Although he has a streak of hit compilations under his belt, this one comes from a different fabric. It’s energetic, with lovely piano arrangements that touch the emotions while also generating a dramatic experience that adds to the piece’s excitement.
Adriano Regazzin also appears in ‘Duvet .’ His presence adds even more flair to the compound. It begins with a gentle piano lead that grows in intensity as the song develops. So much so that after it reaches the halfway point, it’s challenging to let go, and it keeps us coming back for more!
The piece also has an enticing orchestral portion that layers over the divine piano hooks. A violin joins the mix, contributing to its overall message and tugging at the emotions with its calm aspect. The door opens to paradise towards the end of the track, and the piano takes a step back, allowing the violin to shine and creating an impact that you won’t find anyplace else in the modern game.
So, where does Montefalcone go from here? Hopefully, there will be more gems like this one. Is his next project going to be equally spectacular? Based on the delivery, we can bet our last dollar note that it will be just as fantastic!
