Funk/R&B act Gary B. Lovestone has a new track out, and he’s feeling the groove on “Don’t Get Caught Up In Yo’ Lies.” The four-minute tune is obviously about some drama in Lovestone’s life, but he finds a way to finesse the song into a jam that makes you want to move your feet as much as settle your issues. It’s an interesting dynamic, but one that Lovestone is able to pull off with ease. If you’re looking for some pure funk, this is it.
