Our Music Director, Ben Slowey, is more than on top of the local music scene. In addition to his work for Breaking And Entering, he also hosts the Mr. Nice Guy podcast, an interview-based show that reaches out to Milwaukeeans for conversations about what motivates them. Many of these shows fittingly involve the local music scene, and we’ll be sharing some of them here as well.

Today, Ben talks to singer-songwriter Oliver Low, whose singles “City Without Lights”, “All I’ve Ever Known”, and “21 Days” all dropped in 2020. He was in the Milwaukee music scene for a while, took a break, and has returned in the last year. They discussed Oliver’s burning love for 90s music, the bands he was in from the late 2000s and early 2010s, working with a veteran producer on his new music, the “21 Days” video, and what he’s working on now.
