Our Music Director, Ben Slowey, is more than on top of the local music scene. In addition to his work for Breaking And Entering, he also hosts the Mr. Nice Guy podcast, an interview-based show that reaches out to Milwaukeeans for conversations about what motivates them. Many of these shows fittingly involve the local music scene, and we’ll be sharing some of them here as well.

Today, Ben talks to hip hop artist and co-owner of Studio 201x, Lucien Parker. His latest singles are “Hypnotized” and “State of Mind” streaming everywhere. They discussed Lucien’s beginnings with music while in high school, engineering artists while living in his college dorm, the pursuit of endless possibilities with Studio 201x, making music to remind us of childlike wonder, and a number of projects he’s working on.
