The Oshi has a new album out this week, and she’s firmly stamping her place in Milwaukee hip hop with “Confidential.” The seven track release is full of hard production, but more importantly, The Oshi spits with confidence, keeping with the long list of strong females using their voice within hip hop in recent years. There’s a bit of venom in her voice, and that comes out in her prolific bars as well. In many ways, it has comparisons to pre-pop star Nicki Minaj, which is the highest of compliments to what she’s doing. A bevvy of features keeps the vocal tones rotating, but The Oshi establishes herself as the start of the show. Check out “Confidential” below:
