There’s an era of hip hop that consisted mainly of party jams and keeping things light, and while that got lost in translation, Alex Takton is bringing it back with his new album, “Mequon’s Most Wanted, Volume 1.” With producer Godxilla in the mix, amongst a host of features from Treva La Viva and JD The Chief, the album is meant to put a smile on your face. There’s a lot of big personalities that shine here, but it should be noted that Takton can also hold things down when it comes to his actual skill on the microphone.
