It’s been about a year since PaperStacks’ album, “Lil Sum Sum” dropped, and in celebration of that, we get a new video from the project with “Hi-C”. The track is upbeat and bright, with a summertime feel in the winter. Stacks lets his personality take over the verse, with a healthy amount of scheming getting into the bars. The video from Trademark Media is just as colorful and laid back, with plenty of lighthearted cut scenes for a track about hooking up with girls. PaperStacks has released new music since “Lil Sum Sum” came out, but this is a track that definitely deserved the single treatment following the local success of fellow single “Fried Chicken”.
