The grind between Milwaukee’s underground hip hop scene and Bay Area legend Too $hort actually isn’t as far fetched as it seems. Both tend to rely on quantity over quality, essentially flooding the streets with new music by any means necessary. With that thought in mind, YBN Kenny’s latest video, “3 $hort” feels about accurate. The beat builds off of $hort’s classic “Blow The Whistle”, with YBN Kenny putting a distinctively Milwaukee flow over the top of the track. While he may not have 16 albums with him on the front just yet, Kenny puts out music at a fast pace as well, as this is his second video in just a few days.
