Zed Kenzo is an enigma in many ways, and definitely a standout in the increasingly more female-inclusive world of Milwaukee hip hop. Her latest, “Michael Blackson” is a new turn for her sound, leaning toward some darker production and lyrics than her “Baby Swag” EP. The self-produced track is a little more underground-leaning, but it doesn’t stop Zed from making her presence felt on the track. We’ll see if there’s more to come from her in the near future in this style, or if this is a casual one-off release. Check out “Michael Blackson” below:
