AUDIO: Rich P. – “Rothstein”
After much anticipation, Rich P. dropped his new project “Rothstein” over the weekend. With a style and swagger all his own, Rich P. matches the classy demeanor on his cover art with his delivery and beat selection on the project. Led by popular single “100 Yards”, there’s a sense of a more matured emcee than most on the album, and that comes through on tracks like it’s two-step friendly follow up, “Pressure” featuring D. Rose. Other features from Tr3y, L.R., Cardiac Da Pulse, Class-M, and a pair of tracks with AG Da Gift help round out a solid record from top to bottom. “Rothstein” is is definitely creating an element of the Milwaukee hip hop sound with different influences, with a top-shelf sound that is underrepresented locally.
