Local pop punks Honey Creek are back after a transitional period, with a brand new singer in Chris Merisalo and brand new single, “Green Line”. The song talks about growing up and making changes, and you can hear that in the elements of this song. While many of the core parts of the Honey Creek sound are there, and the too-catchy hooks remain, this feels like the next step forward for the band. The song was released on Friday with a message from the band thanking fans for staying with them through their recent changes, and it sounds like things are moving full speed ahead for the group once again.
