As the summer approaches, a slew of new Milwaukee artists will be looking to make their name during the busiest season of the year. Among those names is Brenton Levy, who recently got ahead of the game with his debut EP, “Discoveries”. The release is four tracks of melodic hip hop, with all of the songs having a sense of commercial appeal to them. No track exceeds three minutes, as is becoming more commonplace, but Levy manages to demonstrate his able flow in a short amount of time. From the calm swagger of opener “Want It” to shouting out his team on “TNG”, Brenton commands the mic with style, and shows promising signs for future releases.
