AUDIO: JessieTheGoat – “Doin’ Too Much”
Milwaukee artist JessieTheGoat is hungry to claim his spot in the Milwaukee music scene, and recently dropped his first full-length project, “Doin’ Too Much” to make his presence felt. The album is nine tracks, topping out at around a half hour of confidence and swagger. There’s definitely a mainstream influence on this project, as Jessie takes to some trap production with catchy flows and hooks. With no features, there’s definitely a statement made by putting the spotlight only on himself for what some people would consider a debut, though it does follow-up his 2017 EP, “Take Off”. Single “Snakes” is definitely a high spot of the album, but tracks like “Next Up” and “Execution” are standouts in their own right as well.
