Milwaukee emcee Josh Jenkins has been steadily building up his catalog of music, as well as his reputation within the local hip hop scene over the last few years. That continues with his new single and video, “The Light”, which is likely a preview of his next project. With the combination of a catchy hook and some bars that bring real substance to the forefront, Jenkins has a powerful one-two punch on this track. As he says in the hook, “my light is beamin'”; If this is where we’re headed, Josh Jenkins is showing tremendous potential for his next body of work.
