The Marshall twins are becoming a bit of a commodity in Milwaukee and elsewhere, and show signs of improvement with just about every track that they put out. That’s the case on their latest, “Northside Testimony” featuring Jigg. At this point, MT Twins are really dialing in their sound, with melodic trap flows that embrace their autotune-assisted kick. Lyrically, the song talks about life on the North side, and the realities of growing up in that environment. The feature from Jigg is solid, and fits in well with the track, adding his own unique flavor to the mix. The length of the song is also an anomaly, as it tops out at over five minutes, when most tracks coming out of the underground hip hop scene are lucky to see three. MT Twins are definitely poised for some big things soon, and you can hear that on “Northside Testimony” below:
