There will always be respect for artists that choose to be truthful in their music, and veteran Milwaukee emcee Young Deuces absolutely keeps it a buck in his new video for “The Lie”. The track explicitly deals with the relations between African Americans and police, from the perspective of someone deeply affected by the current political climate. The track is very frank, and the accompanying video from director We Got Flavors adds a dimension to the narrative being addressed, with the harsh reality of a child not knowing what happened to their father.
