When the 2018 Backline grant recipients were announced, it was exciting to see that Zed Kenzo was among the project’s initial four acts selected. While we’ve seen music from the other three acts (Lex Allen, Abby Jeanne, Crystal Knives), Zed had been relatively quiet, but we had heard that she was spending plenty of time in the studio. That changes today, with the release of her new single, “Go Psycho”. The track is more melodic than previous releases from Zed, and her production sounds tighter than usual as well. We have a feeling that 2019 is going to be a massive year for Zed, and this may be the start of that journey for her. Check out “Go Psycho” below:
