While the world celebrated Jay Z’s birthday this week, Milwaukee rapper Son Em’ All had to go in with a new freestyle over a beat from Jay’s “Black Album”. “Threats” is a new verse, and Son Em’ All crushes the beat, with a lyrical flow that would make any hip hop head appreciate what he was doing on the microphone. With some clever wordplay, we get a mixture of a beat that may be considered eternally hard, with a true emcee flow over the top of it. It looks like we’ll be getting more from Son Em’ All going into 2019, but for now, take a couple minutes to nod along to “Threats” below:
