VIDEO: Nile – “[Adult Swim]”
It was just a few days ago that we were telling you that Phat Nerdz have incredible promise as a collective for the future of Milwaukee hip hop. There’s more evidence of that today, as Nile, one of the breakout stars of the group, released the Cellar Dweller-directed video for “[Adult Swim]”. The track mixes a smooth hook with Nile’s established flow on the verses, and the performance clip stylistically borrows from the out-of-left-field Cartoon Network block of programming. We also get a spazzed-out snippet of “Synergy [Spirit Bomb]”, also from his “Tomorrow” project, with a seizure inducing visual (don’t worry there’s a warning).
