If you’ve been around the Milwaukee hip hop scene for some time, you’ve heard the name Kia Rap Princess. The female emcee has been in the game for several years, but continues to progress and adapt her sound to the contemporary. That progression comes to its next point on her new album, “Do You Keep Elevating”, in which she takes on contemporary trap production with her own spin. Kia has never been shy on the microphone, but her confidence is at a new level on tracks like “I Can Tell”, in which she has a commanding presence over her verses.
