If you’ve been off of Milwaukee rap-related social media within the last week, you’ve missed quite a bit. Much discussion has been made about NoPlaysMissedTV’s “Top 20 Milwaukee Rappers” list, posted across their social media. With that, Astro SLIK has something to say about the list, and proves himself worthy of accolades on his latest, “Fuck Yo Raplist”. Taking to a self-produced beat, SLIK keeps it real, airing out a variety of flows on the track. There’s something very uniquely hip hop about putting his thoughts out on a track like this, and it’s essentially smart marketing for the Milwaukee native to weave his way into the conversation that has been going on.
