AUDIO: McGuire Is God – “The Grind Vol. 1”
Look, any time that you compare yourself to God, you’re gonna have some big expectations to live up to. Milwaukee artist McGuire Is God obviously takes that one step further by putting that in his name, and while his debut mixtape, “The Grind Vol. 1” may not necessarily be divine intervention, the tape is impressive for a first effort. Featuring hard hitting production and determined verses from the young artist, McGuire makes it a priority to win over listeners with this tape. The energy is high on this one, with verses that pack as much into a bar as possible, and beats that bring some serious bass. There’s a lot of promise that comes from this project, and it serves as a good introduction to McGuire Is God. Check out “The Grind Vol. 1” below:
