Pretty Beggar are working towards the release of their sophomore album, “Joy And The Pursuit Of”, and in doing so, the band is releasing a new single every Sunday. The third release from the series is “The Island Way”, an upbeat track about helping out others. In many ways, the song fits in perfectly with the album’s title, and also goes well with the bands bright, almost tropical blend of indie rock. Frontman Michael Castle frames the track as a conversation with a father, teaching a son throughout the track. It’s a solid exercise in storytelling, and it comes off well on the new track.
