Much is made about Lil Chicken’s presence in Milwaukee’s hip hop scene, largely due to the sensation that he’s created online. While many people have criticized his style for a lack of lyricism or flow, it has drawn excessive attention to the Milwaukee underground hip hop scene as a whole. It appears though, that Chicken is evolving in his sound, between cuts on the recent “Chicken Scratch” album, and his latest with WeUpNexxt Fresh, “Back 2 Back”.
