Big Beat MKE: Quarterfinals Night Two Recap

The final four producers in the inaugural Big Beat MKE tournament are set, and the second night of quarterfinal battles proved that you have to bring it every single night in order to advance. A sizable crowd made their way to the Jackalope Lounj, and the producers for the night, as well as performers $hunmillion$ and J-Lamo kept them entertained.

The opening contest of the night pitted Main.Key vs. KD. While battling through a little bit of technical difficulty, once both producers got up and running it was a highly contested affair. Our host, Twan Mack of Kareem City, made the OG call for an overtime round, and both managed to impress. However, Main.Key emerged victorious, and is moving on to the semifinals.

In the second contest of the evening, Golden Child went up against SDProduces. Both producers are incredibly talented, and this had a main event feel to it. The Jackalope Lounj stage rumbled with plenty of bass from both producers, and the crowd demanded another overtime, and the judges had a hell of a decision on their hands. While it could’ve went either way, SDProduces pulled off an upset, punching his ticket to the semifinals next week.

So there you have it! We’ve got two weeks and four producers left. Make sure you find out who makes it into the championship battle by coming to the Jackalope Lounj next week Thursday night! Here’s your updated bracket:
