I wish that there was some sort of alarm that we could sound whenever a new posse cut emerges. However, the newest track from Kale Noel is much more than just an exhibition in how many verses he could get on one track. “Quiet The Room” features artists from all over the city, aiming to diminish the criticism that Milwaukee’s hip hop scene exists only in cliques. The track features M.A. Johnson, B. Justice, Sharrod Sloans, Numero 8, Dres, Launde, and Benton. Clocking in at over seven minutes, the song feels like a cypher at times, but if you’re looking for a track to put on and get a sampler of Milwaukee hip hop, this is definitely one to consider.
