The growing roster of talent in Milwaukee’s hip hop scene expands weekly, if not daily, and a new duo are already looking to claim their place within that group. Norman x Qwatrell are brothers, though one calls Milwaukee home and the other lives in Atlanta. However, the distance doesn’t separate the two from putting out a solid debut single in “2 Cents”. The track was produced by Derrick Ingram, and there are plenty of contemporary hip hop and R&B influences that you can hear within the song. For a duo that is just getting started, their sensibility for what makes mainstream music successful seems to be on point, which is a great place to begin from.
