VIDEO: Mad Static & DreTheGirl – “I Wouldn’t Lie” (Premiere)
The Land By The Lake II project continues it’s ever-sprawling release today, which in a way is necessary to properly showcase all of the talent involved with the city-wide project. Today we have the premiere of a new video from Mad Static and DreTheGirl for “I Wouldn’t Lie”, produced by Charley Cooks, aka Mammyth. The clip was directed by CTM Films, and features Static in his element, at the bar spitting some serious flows. The hook from DreTheGirl compliments Static’s sound well, sweetening up the gritty sound with her vocals. From the artists to the producers, videographers, and everyone else involved with this project, it really has been a showcase of Milwaukee’s talented hip hop scene, and this track is no different.
