AUDIO: Son Em’ All – “Back & Forth”
It’s been some time since we’ve heard from Son Em’ All on his own, but that all changed recently with the release of his new EP, “Back & Forth”. Aside from a loose drop last month, this is the first new solo music he’s put out in two years. In that time, there’s definitely been an emphasis on developing a quality product, as all five tracks on the EP are well produced (via DSCRIBE, BLAX, and 40 Mil), and there are skilled verses throughout. With guest appearances from Hektik, kEwii, Mic Crawf, Meccah Maloh, Rich P., and BLAX, there’s a theme to the project; the title refers to the prison system in Milwaukee County, and their rapid rate of incarceration of black males. The EP is a strong release with an underlying theme, and you can check it out below:
