You might know Airo Kwil as one half of Bo & Airo, or the drummer for both D’Amato and Abby Jeanne’s backing bands, or perhaps one of the operators of the Boom Bap & Taps open mic that takes place at High Dive in Riverwest. However, Airo also has a strong solo career, and he continues that today with his new single, “Snow”. The track features a hyped up instrumental, with breakneck verses full of clever bars and wordplay that’ll have you running the song back. Airo has plenty of gigs lined up, including a run to South By Southwest with Abby Jeanne, but we’ll be on the lookout for more solo material soon. Check out “Snow” below:
