Today, another name gets added to the huge lineup set to play the new Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center, as Metallica announced that they’ll be playing Milwaukee on Tuesday, October 16th. The stop is part of the band’s “WorldWired Tour” and their first Milwaukee gig since a 2009 appearance at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

Some savvy fans caught the announcement as early as Friday, when the Wisconsin ESC tweeted out a teaser video that said “Monday” with the band’s signature logo M. Now that we have a date, it’s official that we’ll all be yelling “heyyyeahhh” along with James Hetfield in the new arena this fall.
