YL64 is one of the many newer names in Milwaukee hip hop looking to make a name for himself, and he definitely brings a strong product to the table. His latest video, “RoseGoldMutt The Musical” features verses over chilled out production from ELaree, and crisp visuals courtesy of Cellar Dweller productions. There’s a hook that can get caught in your head as well, but that isn’t necessarily the focus; it’s clear that YL64 is more concerned with the entire feel of the song and video as a whole rather than a catchy hook.
