Among the expansive amount of music that dropped on New Year’s Day, C.M.P. dropped a new three song EP, “New Era”. The hybrid Christian hip hop artist is constantly producing new material, and continues to evolve his sound as well. Progression is a theme on this collection of songs, conveniently timed to bring in the new year. The title track makes note of that, and the central theme is present on following tracks “Promise” and “Restore”. 2017 was a productive year for C.M.P., but I have a feeling that 2018 will see even more music from the local artist.
